Church of St John the Evangelist can be found in New Briggate. The memorial remembers 37 men from the parish. In 1919 the vicar of St Johns asked parishioners for names of their loved ones to be placed on the memorial. The memorial was dedicated and unveiled on Wednesday the 28th September 1921.
